Prayer: Criminal Original petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct Judicial Magistrate at Alandur, to complete speedy trial of C.C.No.916/2017 pending on its files within a reasonable time.

ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Court below to complete the proceedings pending in CC No.916 of 2017.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the charges were framed in the year 2017 and till now, only five witnesses have been examined in this case. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that for the past one year, the case has been continuously adjourned without any progress. Therefore, left with no alternative, the present petition has been filed seeking for appropriate direction.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of this case, the Court below is directed to complete the proceedings within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
