Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the official respondents to take appropriate action on the illegal constructions made by the respondents 6and 7 in the property bearing Door No.52-C, Velacherry-Taramani Link Road, Taramani, Chennai 600 113 under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that already action has been initiated not only against the respondents 6 and 7, but also against the petitioner himself.
2. In view of the same, no further order is required in this writ petition. However, it is needless to state that the Corporation of Chennai is expected to proceed with further in accordance with law. If the Corporation of Chennai is of the view that the land itself belongs to the Revenue Department, the Revenue Department is expected to take appropriate follow up action in accordance with law.
3. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly with the above observations. No costs. Consequently, connected WMP is closed.
