..Respondent(s) PRAYER - This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry on the petition dated 14.02.2022 submitted by petitioner's father (Late) Palanisamy Gounder by affording an opportunity of fair hearing to the petitioner and other necessary parties and to carry out rectification by deleting the erroneous entries made during sub division in UDR Patta and to include the names of the petitioner and her mother in the revised patta and all other revenue records in respect of the land admeasuring an extent of 0.66 punja acres comprised in Survey no.139, Alagumalai village, Tiruppur south taluk, tiruppur
district, after considering the representation of the petitioner dated 24.03.2026 in accordance with law and on merits expeditiously within a stipulated time frame.

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to carry out the rectification by deleting the alleged erroneous entries made during subdivision in UDR patta and to include the names of the petitioner and her mother in the revised patta and in all other revenue records in respect of the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 14.02.2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2022, seeking for the relief as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2022.
3.For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2022, seeking for rectification by deleting the alleged erroneous entries made during the sub-division in UDR patta and to include the names in the petitioner and her mother in the revised patta and all other revenue records in respect of the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
