ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to undertake review / revaluation of the answer book of the petitioner (Regn.No.181214119) relating to Tamil Nadu School Educational Department Administrative Test, Paper I (Code No.65).

2. Heard Mr.S.Mohamed Shalik, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.R.Bharanidharan, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner was serving as B.T.Assistant (Maths) in Government High School, Kattagoundampatti. In response to the notification given by the first respondent Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, calling for the candidates working in various departments for the post of Government Teacher, the petitioner has applied to the respondents and attended two departmental tests. But the petitioner was not selected stating that he did not clear the said tests. The petitioner's representation given in this regard was also not considered by the respondents.

4. Despite the petitioner has performed well in the Departmental Tests, his candidature was rejected stating that he did not obtain the required cut -off marks. Hence, I feel it is appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders.

5. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed and the petitioner is given with a liberty to give a fresh representation to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks thereafter.
