This petition has been filed by the de-facto complainant to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation and file final report in Crime No.195 of 2018. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner's daughter Mahalakshmi got married to one Vadivelu on 22.08.2014. He further submitted that the said Mahalakshmi died under a suspicious circumstances on 23.03.2018 and hence, a complaint was lodged on the same day. He further submitted that the respondent has registered the case in Crime No.195 of 2018 under Section 174(3) of Cr.P.C. But, thereafter he has not taken any steps to investigate the matter. 3.The learned Public Prosecutor has submitted that the investigation is in progress.

She further submitted that the Revenue Divisional Officer has to send the inquest report and the post-mortem certificate is also yet to be received and after receipt of those documents, final report will be filed. 4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file final report within three months from the date of receipt of a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.
