The petitioner was appointed as a Driver on 05.03.1991 in Jeeva Transport Corporation Ltd., now renamed as Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation Ltd., and he was also regularised from service with effect from 30.11.1991. From the date of appointment, he has been working for the past 25 years without giving any room to any one. As he has been maintaining unblemished service records for the past 25 years, he has been issued with two awards for a non-accident driver. In spite of above credit, the respondents have not come forward to include his name when they have prepared a panel for promotion on 03.06.2017. Therefore, he has given a representation to include https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

his name and the same is pending. Hence, if a direction is issued to consider his representation, no one would be put to prejudice.

2. The learned standing counsel for the respondents sought time to consider the pending representation of the petitioner, dated 10.06.2017.

Recording his statement, this Court hereby directs the respondents to consider the pending representation of the petitioner on merits and pass appropriate order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
