By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner is the President of Temple Festival Committee and he intends to conduct cultural program in connection with the temple festival on 05.06.2016 at Vaithiyanathapuram Arulmigu Sri Periyanayagi Vettukaliamman Koil, Attur Taluk, Salem District and in this regard, submitted a representation to the respondent on 21.05.2016. Since no response is forthcoming, he has filed this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.A.Sathish Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Chinnadurai, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, without going into the merits of the representation, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2016 in accordance with law and pass orders as expeditiously as possible, on or before 02.06.2016 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

5. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
