PRAYER - This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 2nd Respondent relating to the impugned order in Proceedings No.Moo. Mu.B2/2986/2024 dated 20.08.2025 and quash the same as illegal, arbitrary and void and Consequently direct the Respondents 1 to 5 to restore the Patta No.531 (Computerized Patta No.24079) for the land admeasuring 0.13.0 Ares in Survey No.333/9 situated at Thanigaipolur Madura Vaniyampettai Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Ranipettai District, in Petitioner's name based on the registered Settlement Deed dated 04.03.2024, bearing Document No.1847/ 2024, on the file of SRO, Arakkonam.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order of the 2nd respondent dated 20.08.2025, cancelling the patta standing in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition.

2.As seen from the impugned order, there is a title dispute between the petitioner and the 6th respondent. In view of the title dispute, the question of

adjudicating the said title dispute by the Revenue Authorities does not arise as a title dispute can be adjudicated only by a Civil Court. 3.For the foregoing reasons, the relief sought for in this Writ Petition cannot be entertained by a Writ Court exercising the powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The request of the petitioner can be adjudicated only by a Civil Court with the aid of oral and documentary evidence. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the Civil Court. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
