By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner being the owner of the land in punjai survey No.244, sub division 244/1B1 measuring an extent of 0.29.5 Hectares at Poigai Village, Vellore Taluk and District executed a registered Power of Attorney bearing Document No.392 of 2014 [O/o. The Sub Registrar, Vellore] dated 13.01.2014 in favour of Mr.G.Rajendran, S/o.Govindasamy Gounder, residing at Door No.3/166, Ramapuram Village, Vellore Taluk and District. Subsequently, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 21.05.2016 to the first respondent requesting for cancellation of the Power of Attorney. Since, no action has been taken, the petitioner has come forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.K.Mukund Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. This Court taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the representation, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2016 on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice to the Power of Attorney holder Mr.G.Rajendran and pass orders as expeditiously as possible, not later than three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to Mr.G.Rajendran.

5. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
