Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for records from the file of first respondent in the impugned detention notice issued by the first respondent in GDN.No.633/2022-23 dated 19.05.2022 and subsequent Revised Notice in GDN.No.633/2022-23 O.R.No.633/2022-23 dated 20.05.2022 issued by the second respondent to the petitioner through Whatsapp on 23.05.2022 at 5.16pm are illegal and quash the same, consequently direct the respondents to release the Goods and the Conveyance forthwith.

ORDER
Mr.Richardson Wilson, Learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. There shall be a interim direction allowing release of the detained goods subject to petitioner depositing a sum of Rs.75,000/- to the credit of the Government. On such payment and production of proof, the detained goods shall be released. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. The petitioner is also given liberty to file a detailed reply to the impugned notice dated 20.05.2022. On such reply being filed by the petitioner, the respondents shall pass appropriate orders on merits. It is made clear that the amount that is directed to be paid by the petitioner is a condition for releasing the goods will be treated as a pre-deposit and subject to final appropriation in the order to be passed pursuant to the revised notice dated 20.05.2022 in GDN.No.633/2022-2023 O.R.No.633/2022-2023.
4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
