Respondent(s) PRAYER This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in connection with the impugned order passed by him in RC No.25901/NGBV(2)/2016 dated 28.07.2016 and quash the same and direct the respondents to promote the petitioner notionally as Head Constable on completion of 5 years of service as Grade-I PC from the year 1981 and further promote her notionally as Sub-Inspector of Police from the year 1996 and also grant further promotion as Inspector of Police notionally from the year 2007 with all service and monetary benefits.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking Writ of Certiorari Mandamus, seeking quashment of the order dated 28.07.2016, passed by the second respondent in RC No. 25901 / NGB V(2) / 2016, and for direction to the respondents to promote the petitioner notionally as Head Constable on completion of 5 years of service as Grade-I PC from the year 1981 and further promote her notionally as Sub-Inspector of Police from the year 1996 and also grant further promotion as Inspector of Police notionally from the year 2007 with all service and monetary benefits.

2. When the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents drew the attention of this Court to the order passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.No.35498 of 2019 and etc., batch dated 15.12.2021, wherein similar issue was considered and dismissed. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents submits that

in view of the dismissal of the said order, the instant Writ Petition may also be dismissed.

3. In view of the above, and following the judgment of the Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.No.35498 of 2019 and etc., batch dated 15.12.2021, this Writ Petition is dismissed on the same terms. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
