This Criminal Original Petition is filed to expedite the trial in S.C.No.206 of 2023, pending on the file of the Subordinate Court, 1/4

Pollachi.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that out of nine cases after splitting up the case against the absconding accused, the trial has commenced and for examination of LW.5 and LW.9, the case is posted to 24.06.2024. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) further states that totally 15 witnesses are to be examined on the side of the prosecution. 3.

In the light of the fact that the trial has commenced and the witnesses are being examined. It is suffice to direct the trial Court to conduct the trial as expeditiously as possible and complete it preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
