Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to give necessary and suitable directions to the second respondent to grant patta for the petitioner's lands that is two plots bearing Plots Nos.15A and 15A1, comprised in New T.S.No.1/1-Part, O.S.No.19/2A-Part, as per Patta bearing Nos.1688 and 1689, Subdivision Nos.19/37 and 19/38, measuring an extent of 1425 sq.ft and 1449 sq.ft., respectively, situated at Ganesh Avenue(Nagar) Extension, Koyambedu Village, Egmore - Nungambakkam Taluk, Chennai District, covered under the Sale Deed dated 04.04.2001. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to give necessary and suitable directions to the second respondent to

grant patta for the petitioner's lands that is two plots bearing Plots Nos.15A and 15A1, comprised in New T.S.No.1/1-Part, O.S.No.19/2A-Part, as per Patta bearing Nos.1688 and 1689, Subdivision Nos.19/37 and 19/38, measuring an extent of 1425 sq.ft and 1449 sq.ft., respectively, situated at Ganesh Avenue(Nagar) Extension, Koyambedu Village, Egmore - Nungambakkam Taluk, Chennai District, covered under the Sale Deed dated 04.04.2001. 2.

Heard Mr.R.Krishnaswamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.

The petitioner submitted representations dated 01.12.2018 and 05.03.2019 to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property comprised in New T.S.No.1/1-Part, O.S.No.19/2A-Part, two plots bearing Plots Nos.15A and 15A1 as per Patta bearing Nos.1688 and 1689, Subdivision Nos.19/37 and 19/38, measuring an extent of 1425 sq.ft and 1449 sq.ft., respectively, situated at Ganesh Avenue(Nagar) Extension, Koyambedu Village, Egmore - Nungambakkam Taluk, Chennai District, before the second respondent. 4.

Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the counter parties if any and conduct enquiry, after giving them an opportunity of hearing, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
