O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2017 for rectification of defects in the revenue records with regard to erroneous classification of lands measuring about 116.04 acres comprised in Survey No.70/2 situate at Midithepalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District and issue patta to the petitioner within a time frame.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2017, the 2nd respondent has not passed any orders so far. 3.Mrs. K. Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to conduct enquiry and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties. 4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2017 for rectification of defects in the revenue records and for issuance of patta and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
