ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 07.07.2020 and pass orders in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Mr.Annai Ezhil, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the first respondent submitted that the representation made by the petitioner has been taken on file by the first respondent and the enquiry has been fixed on 14.10.2020 at 5.00 p.m. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner can be present for the enquiry with all relevant documents. 3.Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the first respondent has already called the petitioner for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 07.07.2020, after hearing the petitioner and the representative of TANTRANSCO and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has already given the particulars in the form provided by the TANTRANSCO by claiming for compensation and the same shall also be placed before the first respondent at the time of enquiry.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
