This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to provide police protection at the time of construction work at the petitioner's property.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner had given a complaint on 28.06.2021 against his neighbour Kothandan and his son Gunasselan that they had prevented him from putting up construction in his premises. Based on the complaint, enquiry was conducted in C.S.R.No.285 of 2021. During the enquiry, both the parties have agreed that they would approach the jurisdictional Civil Court for their relief and thereby, the enquiry has been closed. He would further submit that as on today, there is no requirement of giving police protection to the petitioner.
