This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 224 days in filing the second appeal.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would contend that the delay has been properly explained in the affidavit filed in support of the petition.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent opposed the petition by stating that the delay has not been properly explained and sufficient cause has not been shown to condone the delay.

4. However, considering the prayer sought for in the suit and the length of the delay, this Court is inclined to condone the delay.

Accordingly, the petition is ordered.
