ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give round the clock police protection to the petitioner.

2. Heard Dr.G.Krishnamurthy, Party-in-Person and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaint, it is seen that the petitioner is a practicing lawyer and it is alleged by him that he was manhandled by certain persons in the M.H.A.A. Meeting. Therefore, he has sought for police protection.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to lodge a complaint before the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Flower Bazaar Police Station, Chennai, and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and action taken in accordance with law.
