With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 06.02.2023 filed by the petitioner in pursuance to the compensation proceedings vide Rc.04/2015/BCE/Unit-III dated 26.02.2019 of the 2nd respondent.
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the compensation awarded in respect of his land viz., an extent of 5020 sq.mtrs, acquired for laying National Highways, was unfair and therefore, challenging the said 2/4
compensation proceedings of the 2nd respondent, an appeal filed before the 1st respondent is still under consideration. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
5. Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's appeal and pass appropriate orders on the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
