This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 83 days in filing the Criminal Revision Petition against the conviction order dated 20.10.2022 passed in Crl.M.P. No.1292/2022 by the Special Judge-I, Additional Special Court for Exclusive Trial of cases under NDPS Act, Chennai in C.C. No.97 of 2022.
2. Mr. R. Vinothraja, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), who takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent did not raise any serious objection in allowing this petition. No representation for the 2nd respondent even though his name is printed in the cause list. This Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition.
