PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to register the F.I.R. based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2018 and issued a C.S.R.No.167 of 2018, dated 13.04.2018 on the file of the respondent.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 10.04.2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is doing textile business under the name and style of Mahaveer Silk and Lakshmi Tex. He further submitted that one Keverram and Chonlal and Thootharam are doing textile business under the name and style of Lakshmi Textiles at Arasampatti Main Road and they have purchased textile cloths for wholesale rate to the value of Rs.9,00,000/- and subsequently, they refused to give amount and they are permanently residing at Devali Dhani and Paali District at Rajasthan. He further submitted that since the aforesaid persons did not pay the amount for the cloths purchased by them, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent on 10.04.2018, but, so far, no action has been taken against them and hence, he requests to direct the respondent to register a case.

3. The learned Public Prosecutor has submitted that the said complaint is still pending for enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
