Prayer: This writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ particularly in the nature of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2014 and direct the 1st respondent to fix a new assessment of property tax for the property which was bifurcated from the petitioner's father's property till then the petitioner may be permitted to pay the old tax of Rs.640/-.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. In fact, even on the last occasion i.e. on 14.06.2017, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and that is the reason why the matter is listed for dismissal today (15.06.2017). Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
