Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the fourth respondent culminating in the order dated 05.03.2004 bearing no.B/238/2004 T.A.2035/subhanu/Maasi-22 but signed by the fourth respondent on 08.03.2004 and communicated to the first respondent by a letter dated 05.03.2004, assessing the loss allegedly suffered by the
villagers at Rs.8.22 lakhs and directing the petitioner to pay the said sum as compensation and quash the same and to forbear the respondents 1 to 4 and respondents 6 to 7 their men, agents and servants and other persons claiming through or under them from in any manner acting further or holding any enquiry pursuant to the directions issued by the first respondent on the basis of an inspection of the petitioner's distillery unit/industrial alcohol plant at Kadampuliyur, Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore District and to consequently restrain the respondent 1 to 4 and 6 and 7, their men, agents and servants from interfering with the operation of the petitioner's distillery unit at Kadampuliyur.
