Writ Petition filed under Article 226 Constitution of India, to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2021 and to register a complaint based on the petitioner's complaint dated 03.06.2021.

ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to direct the second and third respondents to consider and register a complaint based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2021.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he had availed an agricultural loan of Rs.49,50,000/- (Rupees Forty Nine Thousand and Fifty Thousand Only) for Cashew nut crop from Canara Bank, Karaikadu, Cuddalore District. Due to natural disaster of "Nivar Cyclone" certain crops in the Warehouse were https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

spoiled, thereafter, due to Covid-19 pandemic situation, he was unable to sell the Cashew nuts in the Godown. Since it was kept for a long time, it has lost its original quality. Knowing well the position of the petitioner, the Bank's Collection Agent went to the petitioner's house and scolded him and his wife in filthy language. Hence, the petitioner sent complaint to the third respondent on 03.06.2021, but till date, no action taken on the complaint, hence, the petitioner filed this present petition. 3.Mr.S.Vinothkumar, learned counsel appearing for the Public Prosecutor submitted that till date, no such complaint dated 03.06.2021 was received by the third respondent/police. 4.In view of the same, it would be appropriate for the petitioner to lodge his complaint in person before the respondent/police to avoid miscommunication with respect to receipt of the same. Thereafter, the respondent/police is directed to take appropriate action on the complaint as per law. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
