The petitioner Sangam consists of members, who are said to be in possession of specific extent of properties. A representation has been made by the petitioner on behalf of its members on 07.07.2015 seeking issuance of patta under Section 8 of The Gudalur Janmam Estates (Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari) Act 1969. As the said request has not been considered till now, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.It appears that the said representation has been given only on 07.07.2015. Hardly, not even a month has elapsed, therefore, this Court is not inclined to allow the prayer as sought for. Instead, a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to look into the representation of the petitioner dated 07.07.2015 and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
