O R D E R

The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of H.M.O.P.No.20 of 2022 on the file of the learned Subordinate Judge at Alandur.

2. When the matter came up for admission on 29.11.2024, I called for a report from the learned Trial Judge to state as to how long he requires to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.20 of 2022.

3. The learned Subordinate Judge at Alandur has submitted a report stating that H.M.O.P.No.20 of 2022 has been filed by the petitioner/husband seeking for divorce. The respondent/wife had also filed a petition in H.M.O.P.No.434 of 2022 seeking for restitution of conjugal rights. The report further states that the husband has also filed I.A.No.2 of 2024 seeking for house keys from the respondent and the same is pending. Therefore, the learned Judge requests six months time to dispose of both the HMOPs.

4. Taking into consideration the report of the learned Trial Judge, there shall be a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge at Alandur to dispose of I.A.No.2 of 2024 along with H.M.O.P.Nos.20 & 434 of 2022 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
