This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the petitioners seeking direction to the respondent Police to provide police protection.

It is seen that the petitioners herein, who hail from different communities, have married without the consent of their parents, and they are seeking police protection, fearing reprisal. 3.
Under such circumstances, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the Superintendent of Police, Kancheepuram, first https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent herein, immediately, who is directed to conduct enquiry and if the petitioners are found to be of legally marriageable age, sufficient protection may be afforded to them, so that no harm befall them.
