Original Application No.5542 of 2002 filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, on abolition, transferred to the file of this Court and renumbered as Writ Petition No.6833 of 2007, seeking for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to settle the petitioner Special Grade Pay arrears of Rs.10067/- together with interest with effect from 31.05.1989 till date. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
2. The petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondents to settle the petitioner's special grade pay arrears of Rs.10,000/- together with interest with effect from 31.05.1989 till date.
3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents had disbursed the amount of Rs.18,306/- to the petitioner.
4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
