ORDER
The present Contempt Petition is filed seeking to punish the respondent for having committed contempt of Court by disobeying the order passed by this Court dated 19.06.2023 in W.P.No.26713 of 2022.
2. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the criminal proceedings initiated by the Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption are still pending against the petitioner and in view of Clause 16 of G.O.(Ms).No.66, Human Resources Management (N) Department, dated 06.07.2022, the disciplinary proceedings are required to be kept in abeyance. It is in this background, the respondent claims that they are unable to comply with the order passed in the Writ Petition.
3. A perusal of the Government Order indicates that the direction in the Writ Petition, fixing the time limit for disposal of the criminal proceedings, may not be feasible. Thus, the disobedience alleged in the present Contempt Petition may not be willful. 2/4
4.
