Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.01.2026 and take appropriate action in accordance with law against the unauthorised and illegal commercial activity carried on under the name and style of M/s.Rahamath Mutton and Chicken Stall at the property bearing Old No.39 (New No.44/2) Jayaram Lane, Saidapet, Chennai - 600 015, including verification and cancellation of licence, if any and initiation of necessary enforcement proceedings, within a stipulated time frame For Petitioner :

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to take appropriate action against the sixth respondent in accordance with law for the alleged unauthorised and illegal commercial activity carried in the name and style of 'M/s.Rahamath Mutton and Chicken Stall' in the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition.
2. According to the petitioner, without obtaining any license, the sixth respondent is running the Mutton and Chicken Stall in the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition. The petitioner had given a representation on 14.01.2026 to the respondents 2 and 3 for the aforesaid
purpose. Since the said representation has not been considered by the official respondents, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.S.Santhosh, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the fifth respondent. Since no adverse orders are passed against the sixth respondent in this writ petition, notice to the sixth respondent is dispensed with by this Court.
4. No prejudice would be caused to any of the parties if a direction is issued to the respondents 2 and 3 to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 14.01.2026, referred to supra, after hearing the objections of the sixth respondent and any other party whom the respondents 2 and 3 deem fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.
6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 3 to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 14.01.2026 requesting the respondents 2 and 3 to take
appropriate action against the sixth respondent for running the mutton and chicken stall in the name and style of 'M/s.Rahamath Mutton and Chicken Stall' in the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition without any license after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the sixth respondent and any other party to whom the respondents 2 and 3 deem fit to enquire within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
