Prayer: This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to relax the condition the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders in Crl.O.P.No.3958 of 2020 dated 05.06.2020.

ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.3958 of 2020 dated 05.06.2020 that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions regularly and hence, he seeks for relaxation of the condition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would also submit that the petitioner appeared before the respondent police only on 23.03.2020 and thereafter he did not comply with the condition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Taking into consideration and also of the fact that due to the pandemic situation the petitioner could not comply with the condition and appeared only on 23.03.2020, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of of two weeks. Even after the direction of this Court, the petitioner did not appear before the respondent police and comply with the conditions.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.3958 of 2019 on 05.06.2020. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
