O R D E R
This revision challenges the order passed by the Family Court, Erode dated 12.06.2015 in M.C.No.34 of 2014.
2. The wife of the petitioner and his daughter aged 17 years old filed M.C.No.34 of 2014 seeking maintenance. On consideration, the Court below directed payment of maintenance in sums of Rs.3000/- to the wife and Rs.2,500/- to the minor daughter. Aggrieved by such order, the petitioner husband moved the present revision.
3. Heard learned counsel on either side.
4. In directing payment of maintenance as above, the Court below has taken into consideration the means of the rival parties, that while the petitioner effected payment of fees of minor daughter till the year 2011, the respondent wife has done so for the years 2012 to 2015 and taking into consideration the needs of the respondents, as also the duty of the petitioner to maintain them, fixed particular sums payable as maintenance.
5. This Court finds no error in the order under challenge and hence, this revision shall stand dismissed. Even so, we take note of the submission of the learned counsel for petitioner that he is required to effect payment of maintenance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
from the date of petition. This Court would permit the petitioner to effect payment of arrears by regularly paying a sum of Rs.30,000/- per month there towards. Such payment together with the maintenance falling due from month to month shall be deposited to the credit of the Maintenance Case on or before 5th of every succeeding month.
