ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 354, and 506(i) of I.P.C and 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women of Harassment Act,2002 in Crime No. Not known of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to construction of building, there was a wordy quarrel between the petitioner and the defacto complainant during which, the petitioner has caused injuries on the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint.

3. When the matter came up before this Court on 01.06.2022, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the case has been registered in Crime No.268 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 336, 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women of Harassment Act and there is a specific allegation against the petitioner that he caused injuries on the cheek, face, right leg and various parts of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the body of the defacto complainant and that the injured was still in hospital. Hence, the matter was ordered to be listed on 10.06.2022.

4. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the injured is still in hospital.

5. Taking into account of the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the injured is still in hospital, the custodial interrogation of the of the petitioner is very much required in this case. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. -sd/- 10/06/2022 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.) High Court, Madras - 600 104.
