Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus directing the 2nd respondent police to produce the petitioner's daughter namely minor Aarthi, who is aged about 17 years before this Court from the illegal custody of the 3rd respondent and hand over the petitioner.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.,] (1) The detenue, a minor, aged 17 years had been secured and we had the benefit of interacting with her. She stated that she did not like the place of work and therefore, had voluntarily moved away. (2) Her mother is also present. She is the petitioner herein. It would only be appropriate that the custody of the detenue is handed over to her mother and the mother had also taken her in custody. (3) We would also feel it appropriate that directions are given to District Legal Services Authority, Kallakurichi, to interact with the petitioner and with the detenue and find out whether it is possible to give some employment to the detenue or at least, give some focus to her life so that she could move forward and not indulge herself in such activities of which she is complained of.
(4) Nothing further requires to be stated. Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
