PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari calling for the records relating to the impugned order dated 14.10.2024 in Proceedings No.T2/TNPCB/F.019084/MMN/Direction/2024-1, and the consequential order dated 29.01.2026 in Letter No.T4/TNPCB/F.019084/MMN/2026, issued by the 2nd respondent, quash the same. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave of the Court to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

2. Recording the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty, as prayed for. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.

3. It is made clear that the period spent by the petitioner in prosecuting the present writ petition before this Court shall be excluded for the purpose of calculating limitation, if the petitioner approaches the appropriate forum.
