Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to direct the respondent to file final report dated 31.12.2014 connection with Crime No.440 of 2014 before the Judicial Magistrate, Harur or directing the Judicial Magistrate, Harur to entertain the protest petition dated 06.07.2015 filed by the petitioner as a private complaint by invoking Sec.200 of Crl.P.C.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.440 of 2014 or to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Harur to entertain the protest application dated 06.07.2015 filed by the petitioner as a private complaint under section 200 Cr.P.C.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that, investigation in Crime No.440 of 2014 has been completed and RCS notice in RCS No.32 of 2014 has been served on the de facto complainant.

4. Under such circumstances, the respondent police is directed to file the closure report before the jurisdictional Magistrate, within two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

With the above direction, this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to file a protest application before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
