The petitioner has filed this petition seeking to grant temporary leave for two months to the detenu - Venkatesan @ Poonga Venkatesan @ Kathiresan son of Krishnasamy, now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal-II, Chennai - 600 066 as Detenue under Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982 made in No.10/BCDFGISSV/2019 dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

12.01.2019 passed by the Commissioner of Police, Chennai City, Vepery, Chennai - 7 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 23.04.2019, the wife of the detenu is before this court with this petition.

2. When the petition came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenue had already been quashed by this court in H.C.P. No.192 of 2019 by order dated 07.06.2019 and the detenue was also released from the prison.
