Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to proceedings of the District Collector, Sivaganga in A1/10600/2002 dated 28.6.2002 and quash the same and to direct the second respondent to include his name in the appropriate place in the list of panel of Tahsildar for the year 2001 and consequently direct the respondents herein to promote him as Tahsildar on par with his immediate juniors with all consequential attendant and service benefits and refix the scale of pay of the petitioner in the cadre of Tahsildar.

ORDER

The petitioner went before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal in O.A.No.5434 of 2002 challenging the order of the second respondent in his proceedings in No.A1/10600/2002 dated 28.6.2002, to quash the same with a consequential direction to include his name in the panel of the year 2001 fit for promotion to the post of Tahsildar. After the abolition of the Tribunal, the matter was transferred and renumbered as the present writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. When the matter was taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that nothing survives in the writ petition, since the petitioner's name was included in the panel of Tahsildars in the next year.

3. Recording her submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
