The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.459 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused persons have dashed one couple's two wheeler by his two wheeler, therefore, the couple fell down and sustained grievous injuries. At that time, the defacto complainant and his friends came to the spot and questioned the accused persons, for which, there was a wordy quarrel among them. The further allegation is that, the accused persons again came to the spot and assaulted the defacto complainant and his friends with wooden log and iron rod and threatened them with dire consequences. Hence the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

mpa 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioner is a habitual offender, against him, there are six previous cases. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.Taking into consideration, the bad antecedents of the petitioner and also he is involved in six previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
