PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the proceedings of 1st respondent made in G.O.(Ms) No.101, Tourism, Culture and Religious Endowments (T2) Department, dated 18.07.2020 by temporarily appointing the 5th respondent as Assistant Director and quash the same.

ORDER
When the appointment of the fifth respondent herein, through G.O.Ms.No.101, Tourism, Culture and Religious Endowments (T2) Department, dated 18.07.2020, was challenged before the Madurai Bench of this Court in WP.(MD).No.8679 of 2020, the same was disposed of on 12.04.2022, with a direction to the Government, to pass orders on the basis of the final report to be filed by the Madurai Kamaraj University. Pursuant to the directions, the Government has also passed orders dated 30.05.2023, holding that the Degree in B.A. Political Science obtained by the fifth respondent herein, is valid. 2/4
2. The petitioner claims that he has already challenged the order dated 30.05.2023, in WP.No.28155 of 2023, which was dismissed for default on 27.09.2023 and he has also filed an application seeking for restoration of the said Writ Petition.
3. Since the same Government Order which is impugned in the present Writ Petition, has already been considered and final orders have been passed by the Madurai Bench of this Court in WP.(MD).No.8679 of 2020 and the petitioner has also chosen to challenge the consequential order dated 30.05.2023 passed therein, the prayer in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous.
