Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the third respondent in Na.Ka.325/03/A, dated 08.07.2005 and to quash the same and directing the respondents to pay the compensation to the petitioner at the rate of Rs.12/- per sq.ft., amounting to Rs.2,12,057/- in addition to the sale consideration of Rs.26,800/- for the land with an extent of 0.18.50 Hectares in Survey No.204/1B (New No.204/1B-2), in Alangadu Village, Thiruthuraipoondi Taluk, Thiruvarur District, with interest at the rate of 12% per annum, from 24.05.2005, i.e., from the date of sale deed, within a time frame as fixed by this Court. O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the present writ petition is to call for the records the third respondent in Na.Ka.325/03/A, dated 08.07.2005 and to quash the same and directing the respondents to pay the compensation to the petitioner at the rate of Rs.12/- per sq.ft., amounting to Rs.2,12,057/- in addition to the sale consideration of Rs.26,800/- for the land with an extent of 0.18.50 Hectares in Survey No.204/1B (New No.204/1B-2), in Alangadu Village, Thiruthuraipoondi Taluk, Thiruvarur District, with interest at the rate of 12% per annum, from 24.05.2005, i.e., from the date of sale deed, within a time frame.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 05.06.2018 and 12.06.2018, there was no representation for the petitioner and the matter was listed on 27.06.2018 with a direction to the learned Government Pleader to submit the relevant records. Even then, on that day also none appeared for the petitioner and to give another opportunity to the petitioner, the Registry was directed to list this petition under the caption 'for dismissal' on 28.06.2018.

3. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner, inspite of the matter being listed under the same caption 'for dismissal'. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
