The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 05.04.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 294(b), 506(i), 120(b) of IPC in crime No.18 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. It is seen that, petitioners had collected huge sum of money from defcto complainant and others under various schemes and also assured to repay the money with huge interest. All the transactions were made through bank.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he seeks for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, petitioner submitted that, a sum of Rs. 40,26,000/- has been cheated by the petitioner. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner and also considering that petitioner had committed very serious and heinous offence as against the society, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed. 05.05.2023 Sma
