This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner's life and to live peacefully in her house at Ramanatham, Thittakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District, based on her representation dated 02.08.2015.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that nothing survives for adjudication in this matter, at this length of time.
