..Respondents Prayer :- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to correct the mistake in the revenue records in respect of land measuring 1 acres and 32 cents at comprised in Survey No.210/4, Palayamkottai Kelpathi Village, Shri Poozanam Taluk, Cuddalore District and issue patta in petitioner's favour within the time fixed by this Court. ORDER

(1)This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the application made by the petitioner and to make the necessary correction in the revenue records and issue patta in favour of the petitioner.

(2)Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate accepting notice on behalf of the respondents, submitted that the application submitted by the petitioner has been taken on file by the 2nd respondent and the 2nd respondent has fixed the date of enquiry as 18.09.2020 at 11.00 a.m. The learned counsel https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

further submitted that the petitioner can be present for the enquiry with all the relevant documents.

(3)Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the 2nd respondent has already called for an enquiry, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to conduct the enquiry and pass orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(4)This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
