O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 21.09.2022 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.22686 of 2022, thereby directing the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.229 of 2017 and file final report within a period of four weeks.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondent completed the investigation in Crime No.229 of 2017 and filed final report before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Thiruvallur. However it has not been taken cognizance by the said Court.

Considering the above submission, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thiruvallur, is directed to take cognizance the final report filed in Crime No.229 of 2017 on his file and proceed in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. 4.

With the above directions, the Contempt Petition stands disposed

of.
