Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents herein to grant further extension of leave for further 6 weeks to the petitioner's husband M.A.Kannan, (Convict No.1332) S/o.Athinamilagi, aged about 44 years, detained at Central Prison Puzhal I, and to order to grant him further extension of ordinary leave for 6 weeks from 01.09.2020 for the petitioner's medical assistance as she is suffering from continuous bleeding because of abdomen pain and also severe

stress and as well as her children's education admission and also the development of their new started business of chicken poultry also there is some property on her mother in law's name who died on 14.07.2020 and the same to be transferred into her name, her husband is the only son of her mother-in-law and class I legal heir and his presence is must in any change or sale of our properties for which her husband has applied for legal heir certificate to complete such transaction.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the convict surrendered before the prison authorities and therefore, this petition become infructuous.

2.In view of the above, no further orders are required in this petition and the habeas corpus petition stands closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to file a fresh petition, if so advised.
