By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be the Dharmakartha of Arul mighu Mariyamman Temple, situated at Nithnatham Village, Thittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District, has submitted a representation dated 10.05.2016 to the second respondent praying for necessary permission to conduct cultural programme in connection with the temple festival held between 20.05.2016 to 27.05.2016 and since no order has been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, learned counsel appearing for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner would vehemently contend that though the application to the second respondent was submitted as early as on 10.05.2016, for the reason best known to him, he has not chosen to pass any order and therefore, the petitioner is constrained to filed this writ petition.

Per contra, Mr.P.Chinnadurai, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, would submit that the petitioner at the very last moment has approached this Court and therefore, it may not be possible for him to instruct the second respondent to pass orders by tomorrow.

5. This Court has considered the rival submissions.

6. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court permits the petitioner to submit one more application/representation to the second respondent for conducting cultural event in connection with the temple festival to be held and the second respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of one week from the date of submission of the said representation/application and inform the same to the petitioner forthwith.
