The petitioner has filed this writ petition praying for for the records relating to the G.O.(2D) No.21, Rural Development (C-1) Department, Dated 19.03.2004 issued by the State of Tamil Nadu represented by its Secretary, Fort St. George, Chennai - 600 104 the first respondent and the proceedings of the District Collector/Inspector of Panchayats, Dindigul District at Dindigul made in Na.Ka.No.2615/2002/A3, dated 07.05.2003 and the Notification published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazeter Part VI, Section-2 dated 07.05.2003, the second respondent herein and quash the same. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous as the period of the petitioner as President is over. Therefore, nothing survive in this writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3.In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
