Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2018 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to cancel the patta dated 31.10.2003 issued by the 3rd respondent in the name of 4th respondent's husband late.Shanmugam.

ORDER

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioners have come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2018 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to cancel the patta dated 31.10.2003, issued by the 3rd respondent in the name of 4th respondent's husband late.Shanmugam.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners have submitted a representation claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the said representation is yet to be disposed of by the 2nd respondent. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 26.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners, 4th respondent as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
