W.M.P.Nos.18876 and 18877 of 2016 in W.P.Nos.17259 & 17260 of 2009 T.S.Sivagnanam,J., These Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed, seeking certain corrections, (morefully described in the Schedule annexed to the affidavits, filed in support of these Miscellaneous Petitions) in the common order passed in W.P.Nos.17259 and 17260 of 2009, dated 15.04.2016. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for petitioners in both Petitions, contended that, non mentioning the extent of the properties in question, is an inadvertent mistake. It is his further submission that, in all other documents, filed along with the Writ Petitions, details of the properties have been mentioned, but, while drafting the prayer portion in the Writ Petitions, extent of the properties, which both the petitioners owns individually, have been omitted to be mentioned. The learned counsel, therefore, prayed that the said errors may be corrected. The learned counsel also seeks for correction of the relationship of the petitioners, mentioned in para No.6 of the said order.

I have heard learned Special Government Pleader on the above

submissions.

In the light of the fact that the mistakes committed by the petitioners, viz., failure to mention the extent of the properties while drafting the Petitions, were inadvertent, and the mistake pertaining to the relationship of the petitioners, also being inadvertent, both Miscellaneous Petitions are allowed. Accordingly, the prayer portion, bearing the subheading "Prayer in both W.Ps", and Para No.6 of the common order, dated 15.04.2016, passed in W.P.Nos.17259 and 17260 of 2009, shall stand corrected as prayed for, and Registry is directed to issue fresh certified copy of the order to the petitioners, on filing fresh applications and remitting necessary charges.
